Working with Away Capture
I collaborated with Away Capture as a drone pilot to film an action-driven ad for CAT Footwear, capturing the rugged durability and adventurous spirit of their shoe line. My aerial work added dynamic perspectives that highlighted the product’s strength in challenging environments.
The goal was to showcase CAT Footwear’s toughness through bold, high-energy visuals. A key challenge was coordinating complex drone maneuvers in outdoor locations while maintaining smooth, cinematic shots that emphasized the shoes in action.
I operated the drone to deliver sweeping aerial shots and close-proximity flyovers, enhancing the ad’s sense of movement and scale. I worked closely with the director and ground crew to align my shots with the creative vision while ensuring safety and precision in fast-paced filming environments.
The final ad blended ground-level intensity with dramatic aerial visuals, elevating CAT Footwear’s brand narrative. My drone footage played a central role in conveying the product’s durability and bold design, contributing to a compelling and visually striking campaign.
